Moving and Shaking!

My little peanut is crawling all over the place now. He is such a busy body! Here is his 10 month picture (and yes I realize that he will be 11 months in a few days, but I got a little bit behind...oops).

In this picture you can also see remnants of his first head bump from trying to pull himself up. He loves to dance. Here is a video of him grooving to his own music. I think he is going to be musically inclined because he loves banging on the play pianos and drums. Plus he loves dancing around whenever there is music.

Some other things my little peanut is doing now is pulling himself up to standing. He is starting to walk around holding on to the furniture but for the most part he just likes pulling up and seeing what little things he can reach that he knows he is not supposed to have. He also loves making baskets in his hoop. Here's a video of the future bball star! :)

9 Month Milestones

My peanut is now 9 months old! He is doing so much more now. He is going from laying to sitting, he pulls himself up a little bit, he is eating solid foods, and he even claps now! Here is his 9 month video- I took a picture but his video is too cute to not post.
He is such a sweet little boy - he loves to give kisses to everyone! Here is a video of him clapping - he gets so excited sometimes when he claps. At church today he would clap when the singing started and his face would get such a joyous look! He loves listening to music and "singing" along.

First Christmas

Peanut had a wonderful first Christmas! It really wore him out - he took many naps which is a little bit unlike him. Here he is having fun with Aunt Heather and Great Nana!

He was not interested in opening the presents, but he sure liked to look at what was inside and explore what everyone else was doing. He also loved rolling around!

Peanut also has 2 little teeth now. He just started eating puffs and is doing a great job picking them up and putting them in his mouth! Here is a little video of him eating his food.

We accidentally skipped our 7 month picture...I guess that is how it goes with the second child. But, here is our not so little Peanut at 8 months today!!
He is getting so big and talking so much  more! No crawling yet, but you can tell that he wants to. He has also popped out a tooth finally...those teeth have been keeping us all up lately!! Here is a picture of what his sister has been doing to him - although he does enjoy playing with her even if she makes him dress up and do girly things.
Here is a video of Peanut playing with tissue paper. He loves holding paper of any kind and he really enjoys tearing up tissue paper. Oh to enjoy the little things in life like that. :)

6 Months...just a little bit late

Okay, okay, so I have been terrible about this lately but it seems like life has gotten crazy!! Here is my not so little anymore Peanut's 6 month pic.
My little man had an ear infection last week...poor guy. But, he is back to his happy self now! His favorite things to do now are sit and play peek a boo. He will take a towel and hold it over his eyes then pull it down real fast and laugh. Super cute! He also likes to blow raspberries. Here's a video of him making his noises!

My personal trainer...

My peanut is getting so big!! Here is his 5 month picture (although I will be honest and say I took it at about 5 1/2 months!). He is twice as big as his bear now.
He is moving around all the time now. He is also getting really good at grabbing things - today he was pulling the toy down on his car seat and then watching it crunch back up. Peanut has become our personal trainer because he is such a good exerciser! Here he is doing exercises with Sweetpea - some good ab work let me tell you!

Roly Poly

Peanut is getting so big! He went to his first Pumpkin Fest and I am sad to say I forgot the camera. But he had a great time! It will even be better next year when he can eat the pumpkin treats, but he enjoyed watching the parade.
He has been enjoying his exersaucer as you can see! He also has been rolling over a lot and can even sit up by himself for a short amount of time. Here's a video of him rolling over. His sister helps him get his arm out but he can also do that by himself now, too!
