We accidentally skipped our 7 month picture...I guess that is how it goes with the second child. But, here is our not so little Peanut at 8 months today!!
He is getting so big and talking so much  more! No crawling yet, but you can tell that he wants to. He has also popped out a tooth finally...those teeth have been keeping us all up lately!! Here is a picture of what his sister has been doing to him - although he does enjoy playing with her even if she makes him dress up and do girly things.
Here is a video of Peanut playing with tissue paper. He loves holding paper of any kind and he really enjoys tearing up tissue paper. Oh to enjoy the little things in life like that. :)

6 Months...just a little bit late

Okay, okay, so I have been terrible about this lately but it seems like life has gotten crazy!! Here is my not so little anymore Peanut's 6 month pic.
My little man had an ear infection last week...poor guy. But, he is back to his happy self now! His favorite things to do now are sit and play peek a boo. He will take a towel and hold it over his eyes then pull it down real fast and laugh. Super cute! He also likes to blow raspberries. Here's a video of him making his noises!

My personal trainer...

My peanut is getting so big!! Here is his 5 month picture (although I will be honest and say I took it at about 5 1/2 months!). He is twice as big as his bear now.
He is moving around all the time now. He is also getting really good at grabbing things - today he was pulling the toy down on his car seat and then watching it crunch back up. Peanut has become our personal trainer because he is such a good exerciser! Here he is doing exercises with Sweetpea - some good ab work let me tell you!

Roly Poly

Peanut is getting so big! He went to his first Pumpkin Fest and I am sad to say I forgot the camera. But he had a great time! It will even be better next year when he can eat the pumpkin treats, but he enjoyed watching the parade.
He has been enjoying his exersaucer as you can see! He also has been rolling over a lot and can even sit up by himself for a short amount of time. Here's a video of him rolling over. His sister helps him get his arm out but he can also do that by himself now, too!

Rolling over, baptism, and first foods!

Peanut has been growing like crazy! I am a little late, but here is his four month picture - I can't believe it but he will be five months old in a week!
We went back to Missouri last weekend for his baptism. He did a great job! Cried a little bit when water got in his eyes, but then he calmed back down right away and partied like a rock star all afternoon!

He also started rolling over. When we got back home I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, then when I went to check on him he had rolled over by himself and was chilling on his stomach! We also gave him some of his first food, cereal, the other day. He is still learning how to keep it in his mouth. :) Here is a video of him eating.

Roll over

My peanut is really trying to roll over lately! Here is a picture of him almost over - he just hasn't quite figured out how to move his arms under yet. I am hoping he takes his time learning that.
I think his teeth are really starting to cut too because he is chewing on everything! His favorite things to do right now are chew on his toys or his hand. Here's a picture of him chewing his hand.

First time at the beach

Peanut enjoyed his first trip to the beach and he was such a great traveler! We had many late nights and he hung in there like a champ. Here's a video of him with Grandma at one of the restaurants.
I think he is starting to get some teeth because he has really taken to gnawing at everything lately and, without any help from us, he found his thumb. We may have two thumb suckers soon!
He is getting bigger every day! You may hear about him rolling over soon because twice today I found him rolling over to his side. He is getting quite good at tummy time too. Still has those blue eyes, not sure if they will change. Time will tell...

Swim baby

Peanut had his first swim in the pool and he really liked it! I think he is going to be a real water baby - he loves bath time and the pool! Here's a picture of him in the pool with daddy.

He also has been trying to roll over - today he was almost all the way over on the changing table. Look out! Peanut loves to smile and lately he has started to laugh. Here is a video of him laughing when daddy tickled his feet. :)

3 Months old!

I cannot believe my little peanut is 3 months old! He's a big boy, too, and he's already wearing 6 months clothes.

He is also starting to hold stuff and pull it up to his mouth. Look out! I told big sister to make sure she doesn't leave her little toys lying around because he's starting to chew on everything. He even found his thumb a couple times, but we are trying to discourage that!

We took our first big trip to Branson and my little Peanut was a rock star! He was great on the car trip - got a little bored a couple times but as long as I played with him in the back he was fine. He loved Silver Dollar City and didn't complain the whole day! He is ready for his trip to the beach in a week!

Mover and Shaker!

Peanut has been kicking up a storm. I think it won't be long until he finds those toes! A couple of mornings when I went to get him I noticed he was even turned all the way around in his crib. He is loving his sister and she is so good with him! Here is a picture of her cuddling up to him.

He is also talking a lot more and smiling. The other day I think I even heard him laugh at something his sister said! I thought it would be fun to see pictures of him next to Emma. They definitely have the same nose and mouth - there are a lot of similarities! Still not sure where his blue eyes came from, but they are gorgeous! Happy Fourth of July everyone!

2 months old!

I can't believe how big my little peanut is getting! Here is his 2 month picture. We had his check up and he is 13 pounds now and looking healthy. Even his eye is clearing up now.
He is starting to talk a lot more. This little guy is also starting to sleep a lot more. The last two nights he slept for 9 hours straight! That has been good for everyone! :) He gets to go to his first Cardinals game this weekend - I think he will enjoy it because he likes going to watch his sister play tee ball. Here's a picture of my little peanut talking.

2 Months Old

My little Peanut turned 8 weeks old today - I can hardly believe it! He is turning into quite the chunky monkey, too! Here's my little hunk.
I think he is really enjoying having his sister home from school - he seems to be kind of cranky when she is not around. Here is a video of her holding him.
We are enjoying hearing his coos and he has recently discovered that his fingers taste quite good. :)

Bring on the Smiles!

Peanut is starting to smile and I love it! Here is a picture of him smiling (well, it's a video but only because I forgot it was on video). He has been moving around so much more and really holding onto things now - especially mommy's hair! :)
We had a great visit with Aunt Heather and Aunt Christi last weekend. Peanut just loves having people around to hold him - I think that is when he is happiest! He is definitely a people person.

One Month Old

I can't believe my Peanut is already one month old! He is getting so much bigger, too. He didn't fit into one of his onesies tonight - and so it begins! Here's a picture of him next to his Build-A-Bear from Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Mike. I am going to try and take a picture each month with him next to the bear to see his growth (if he'll let me!).
We can't believe it, but he still has blue eyes. He may be the one blue eyed guy in the family if they don't change! He has been moving around a lot more and getting quite good at holding his head up. Here's a video of him kicking around.

A Peanut is Born

On April 15 we welcomed our little peanut into this world. It was such an awesome surprise finding out it was a little boy - I am so glad that we waited to find out this time! Big sister is loving her brother and is so gentle with him. Our peanut has grown like a weed. When he was born he was 7 lbs, 0.8 oz and when we left the hospital he was almost at birth weight again which all the nurses were amazed at. They also said he was pooping and peeing like a champ! :) At 2 weeks he was at 7 lb 11 oz. Here is a picture of our peanut.
